Instructions to Authors
Preparing the camera-ready version of
your paper
Authors of accepted papers are requested
to submit the camera-ready version of their papers no later than
december 10th, 2004, using the on-line system (see camera-ready submission
procedure). The camera ready paper must use the IEEE conference
proceedings format (check IEEE
conference proceedings manuscript rules) as they pertain to the US
letter format, namely
- Paper length must not exceed 15, unnumbered pages
- Point sizes and styles: Use times roman for all styles
- Use 24 points, regular, for paper title
- Use 11 points for authors' names
- Use 10 points for:
- authors' affiliation
- main text
- level 1 section titles (roman numbering, small caps)
- level 2 section titles (capital letter numbering,
italics)
- Use 9 points, bold for abstracts (and bold italic for
word "Abstract")
- Use 8 points for figure captions and references
- Margins:
- Use a top margin of 0.75 inches
- Use a bottom marhin of 1.0 inch
- Use side margins of 0.625 inches
- Columns must be 3.5 inches wide and must be 0.25 inches
apart

note:
- Make sure that we get your paper by December 10th:
we will assemble the proceedings during the week-end and send them for
production Monday, December 13th, the latest possible date for us to
get the proceedings in-time for the conference. Failure to do so means that it will
definitely not be included in the proceedings
- Make sure that paper length does not exceed 15, unnumbered pages
- Make sure that one of the authors has registered for the
conference by December 10th. Failure
to do so means that your paper
will definitely not be included in the proceedings. If you are
registering by
check or money order, make sure we get it by the 10th. If you are
registering by wire-transfer, please send a copy of the wire
transfer order to Prof. Aziz Salah by
Fax at (514) 987-8477, by
December 10th. If you are making an on-line credit card payment, make
sure you do so by the 10th.
